Our Client has requested a qualified Recruiter to work onsite at their headquarters in Arlington, VA. This is a full-time opportunity for a period of 3-6 months. The assignment is scheduled to begin in July 2008, at the earliest possible availability. At the end of the contract period, the Client may choose to hire the Recruiter as an employee.
Some of the specifications for the position are as follows:
Solid recruiting background required in the government-contracting field.
Candidate needs specific experience recruiting for the intelligence community
Other duties include conducting new hire orientations, internal and external HR report generation and data analysis (10%).
Demonstrated level of creativity, energy and enthusiasm for the mission of the Client.
Years of experience not as critical as personal ambition and aggressiveness in recruiting.
Must be a “hunter” for qualified candidates.
Primary Duties:
Source candidates for available openings, using provided job board resources, networking opportunities and the recruiter’s own network of contacts.
Prescreen candidates for technical knowledge, relevant experience, and character fit.
Present candidates to management for consideration.
Close the recruitment process by making offers to selected individuals, or ending their candidacy.
Participate in employment negotiations.
Create a pipeline of candidates for future projects and contract opportunities.
Be proactive with recruiting.
Recommend, develop and enforce recruitment policies and procedures for the company.
Educate management on recruiting best practices.
Stay current in the recruiting field and the intelligence industry to provide the highest value to our Client.
Individual should be able to participate in management meetings as a strategic business partner.
