We have an immediate need for an experienced Java Developer in McLean, Virginia.
* Minimum 6 month contract assignment (contract period could go longer), with strong potential (if employee is performing well) to go permanent.
* MUST HAVE A CURRENT TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining mission-critical, web-based applications for a Government customer.
- Use Java and XML in a J2EE architecture.
- Responsible for developing application infrastructure at the application server, security, and messaging level.
- Make use of design patterns and use and create web frameworks. Developing and/or integrating advanced search tools and frameworks.
- Support quick-turnaround efforts and work well in a fast-paced development environment.
Required Qualifications:
At least 4 years Java experience.
At least 2 years J2EE experience with a major application server product (ex: BEA Weblogic, Oracle Application Server, IBM Websphere, Jboss).
Hands-on experience using design patterns.
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.
