Tired of working for a "Big 4" Firm?

Our client offers the benefits of working for a Big 4 firm without the "downsides" typically associated with that. They provide highly competitive compensation and benefits, a supportive and friendly environment, quality of life, a six weekinternational staff exchange, and most importantly, unlimited advancement opportunities. They truly are a very different type of financial services Firm (no timesheets even!).

Requirements and Job Description:

This client is a very highly regarded, boutique global financial services firm with a sophisticated, international clientele. Located in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County), they have become the premier firm in the Washington D.C. area specializing in planning and compliance aspects of international tax. They have successfully served thousands of clients atinternational organizations headquartered in Washington, D.C., as well as large and small multi-national corporations and their expatriate staff. This client also has a very successful wealth (portfolio) management practice, also serving largely an international/expatriate clientele. Their investment management practice manages portfolios with an average balance of over $600,000.00 on a fee-only basis, with a level of honesty and integrity too often compromised elsewhere. Did I mention, they are also active members of Nexia International, a global network of accountants and advisors in over 90 countries, further enabling us to successfully function from a global platform.

This is a unique opportunity for the best of the best. As a professional Associate or Sr. Associate, you will work closely with other professionals on assignments involving international/expatriate clients. You will provide tax planning, compliance, and research services to clients, with state of the art technology. Additionally, you will participate in diversetechnical consulting and administrative projects. You will be working with expatriate clients from many different countries and in different industries, allowing you to sharpen your technical skills while learning about a variety of international and business cultures.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator (written and verbal), highly competent, personable, honest and interested in a very entrepreneurial career. We seek a professional that is motivated to make a realimpact with a Firm small enough to make that happen, sophisticated enough to provide great challenge, and philosophically committed to empowering its staff. Please do not apply if you seek the more innocuous and controlling environment of one of the mega CPA firms. If you are a tax professional, the company will train you in expatriate taxation.

If you are already an experienced expatriate tax professional, you will have an opportunity to manage systems, personnel, and processes in the most progressive financial services firm around.

Must have 1-4 years of experience as a tax professional.
